Appalachia Service Project - Trip Update

Our Appalachia Service Project missionaries completed their first full day of work yesterday. The weather was perfect for working- cloudy and mild with no rain!

The team was split into four separate work crews working on four separate projects. They tackled numerous tasks including roofing repairs, underpinning a trailer, drywall repair, and even bathroom remodeling.

Teamwork and camaraderie are overflowing as everyone is enjoying spending time with each other. Our Nativity missionaries are sharing the center with students from the University of Delaware and have enjoyed getting to know them.

Day one of work was a great one! Trip leader Lynda McGinnis described the day as "tiring and rewarding." She also said the Holy Spirit is definitely present and shining upon the whole team!

Take a moment today to thank God for our special missionaries. We pray that He continues to bless them as they move forward with their work and fellowship.

  1. It sounds like things are going so well! I'm glad the rain has held off, too :) We are all praying for you and your work this week.
