Appalachia Service Project - Trip Update

Today was the final work day for our travelers. All groups said goodbye to the families after finishing many jobs at their assigned locations. New groups will come in on Monday and pick up where they left off.

This evening the missionaries had a sharing circle with all the groups that were working there this week. Each person was asked to talk about a God or Holy Spirit moment they encountered this week. The physical work they did was mentioned but again and again the theme of relationships kept coming up. The bonds made with the families were the most important things that happened this week. Also, our Nativity team members bonded with each other and many have made new friends for life. It's amazing how fast you get to know people when you all sleep in a big room with bunk beds!

The group will depart tomorrow morning around 6:30am and stop at the Biscuit House for breakfast. They can't wait to see everyone back home and share the stories of the trip.

We pray for a safe trip back for our travelers!
