Appalachia Service Project - Trip Update

Our Appalachia Service Project missionaries left bright and early this morning from the Nativity parking lot to make their way to Brenton, West Virginia. They were sent off with enthusiastic prayers and hugs from loved ones. Our travelers will spend the week building relationships with families in the community and assisting with construction projects.

The team stopped for lunch, fellowship, and to refuel for the journey ahead. They were blessed with nice weather for the trip down.

They arrived safely in Brenton around 3:30pm and enjoyed dinner together. Group leaders were participating in a home visit to get some more information about the work planned for the week. Three other churches are also in Brenton to assist with construction efforts. The place is filled to capacity with open hearts ready to serve! Everyone is enjoying the warm, beautiful weather and each other's company.

We pray that our team gets some much-needed rest this evening and pray that God continues to bless them every step of this journey.

Keep checking back here for updates on their trip!
